This weeks recruitment news has been hot with scheduled visits announcements, offers, and commitments. This week features a Q&A with 2027 4⭐️ F Donovan Davis of Freedom HS.

Q&A

2027 F Donovan Davis- Freedom HS/Team Herro

League Ready reported that Davis scheduled unofficial visits with Nebraska February 1, Marquette February 7, and Iowa State February 28, all schools he’s previously visited.

Davis recently attended the Wisconsin vs USC game at the Kohl Center.

The Badgers have Donovan Davis as a main target in the 2027 class.

Davis spoke with me giving me an update on his recruiting.

MW– What are your thoughts about the Wisconsin Badgers program?

DD– I like a lot about the Badger program, like how they’ve changed their philosophy from what it was before and how much I could fit into their system as well and being close to home.”

MW– What do you like about Nebraska heading into the visit.

DD– My thoughts for the Nebraska visit is it’s going to be a good game with them playing Illinois and it’ll be good to get back down there.

Davis offers Cal, Colorado State, Iowa, Iowa State, Marquette, Nebraska, Syracuse, Wisconsin.

Interest from Kentucky and other high major D1 programs.

Sr F Grady Karrels- Port Washington HS/Chapman North committed to Carroll University (WI) Men’s Basketball.

Sr G Cooper Michalski- Chequamegon HS/Wisconsin Playmakers committed to UW-River Falls Men’s Basketball.

OFFERS

Sr F Robbie Angiulli- Wausau East HS/G-Elite AAU picked up an offer from UW-River Falls Men’s Basketball.

Sr G Matt Burkhart- Burlington HS picked up an offer from Dakota Wesleyan University (SD) Men’s Basketball.

Jr G Graysen Becker- Altoona HS/Wisconsin Playmakers picked up an offer from the University of Mary (ND) Men’s Basketball.

Becker has other offers from Cal State-Bakersfield and Michigan Tech.

Jr G Tyson Busch- Oak Creek HS/Racine Truth received an offer from Barry University (FL) Men’s Basketball.

Jr F Miles Schmidgall- Fall Creek HS/Wisconsin Playmakers picked up an offer from University of Mary (ND) Men’s Basketball.

Jr G Oliver Belot- Homestead HS/Chapman Basketball was offered by Barry University (FL) Men’s Basketball.

Belot also has an offer from Menlo College (CA) Men’s Basketball.

So G Joey Kohnen- Slinger HS/Team Herro was offered by Iowa Men’s Basketball.

Kohnen also has offers from Iowa State, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.
