Evolution Basketball Great Lakes Takeover at MOSH Performance Center & Center Court with teams from around the midwest in the building was brewing with many midwest D-1 to Juco boys and girls prospects which provided quality games, fantastic coaching, guided by college elite-level officiating.

As good as the boys game were, one or many might beg to differ and say that the girls games at the Great Lakes Takeover tournament were even better and gathered the most attention because of the high-quality level of fundamental basketball and great team play on display at the MOSH Performance Center.

From last second game-winning shots, game winning and tying free-throws, to teams showing dominance, the girls play was electrifying. Here’s the list of lady hoopers that stood out the most to me.

(NO RANKING OR ORDER)

2026 Carrii Hicks – Wisconsin Playground Club

Potential to be the best prospect in the C/O 2026. Displayed the ability to do everything at an elite level consistently on offense and defense.

2026 LAILA Collier-White – Wisconsin Playground Club

Potential to be top 5 prospect of C/O 2026. Collier-White showed the ability to dominate a game on offense and defense. On-ball defense is superb. Elite playmaker with the ability to create her own shot.

2027 Tori Judon – Evolution Basketball

Every time I’ve watched Judon play, I was impressed even more with her as a point guard and being able to hold her own as a freshman. Judon has potential to be a top 5 C/O 2027 prospect.

2028 Sophia Hermann – 24:UP

Hermann displayed an ability to be an elite 3-level scorer. She has the ability to shoot off the dribble, has a nice mid-range game, and range with her shot. As an eighth-grader playing up against top competition, Hermann will only get better. Top 5 C/O 2028 prospect.

2026 Maliyah Barnes – Wisconsin Warriors

Barnes displayed her ability to control a game with her defense using her length well when defending which led to blocks and steals, which turned into Barnes going coast to coast getting fast break points off of turnovers. Barnes also finishes at the rim extremely well using her off hand.

2027 Lea Coker – Evolution Basketball

Coker showed why she’s one of the best shooters in the 2027 class by knocking down shots coming off the screen and from the kick-out pass. With just a little space, Coker has the ability to get her shot off and be a consistent knock-down shooter.

2026 Amari Hanson – Wisconsin Warriors

Hanson played a lot in the high-post I’m assuming because of her ability to shoot and pass out of the post because that’s where she was the most dominant at all tournament. Hanson’s footwork in the post gives her an advantage over her defenders which allows her to get to the rim and finish strong.

2026 Janessa Hill – Gallo Sports Center

Hill showed her dominance all tournament. Hill uses her size well when positioning in the post and when creating her shot. I was also impressed with Hill’s dribble and footwork.

2028 Jayda King – Evolution Basketball

King uses her size well on offense and defense. I love King footwork and her ability to see man and ball at the same time while being an excellent help side defender as well. King footwork in the post allows her to play with her back to the basket and facing her defender. Solid mid range game, excellent finisher at the rim.

2025 Fallon Duncan – Gallo Sports Center

Duncan does all the little things that usually gets over looked but jumps out at you when watching her play. Duncan played extremely well in pick-and-roll situations setting solid screens and rolling or popping out clearing space. Solid rebounder with great outlet passes.
